Question… if a lawsuit for a residential lease happened in Colorado, can they still garnish my wages in Pennsylvania where I reside? And no, just in case anyone asks, I hadn’t had my wages garnished when I lived in Colorado. It never got that far. I just received a letter stating they would pursue it further, even thouh their in Colorado.

What a spectacular post! I did a sort of blogging for dummies over on one of the CPA Marketing forums and I considered it was too simple for them, but the sum of emails I got asking questions just like what you addressed was unbelievable. As young people nowadays we have grown up with computers, but it’s easy to forget that even individuals just a a couple of years older have not! Really good post!

I live in a dual fault state No/AT fault I was a passenger in my daughters vehicle and do not wish to cause her any financial burden. She WAS NOT at fault we were hit by a mini van while waiting in the intersection to turn left the young lady in the van came barrelling around a car stopped at the red light in the opposing lane facing us ran the red light traveling about 35 mph spun us around about l90 degrees and also hit the car behind us… I would rather settle or deal with the insurance company of the at fault driver if possible. I am in pain went to my own doctor today /day after accident with severe T5-6 pain which she said should subside in a few days I’am aware of ongoing possibilites I would like to get what is just not abusive I pay for home and auto insurance and rates are not cheap don’t want to make the industry worse than it already is

Please, somebody help me!! I recieved a notice to vacate the premises because my lease ended in September of this year. I called the landlord and told her that I thought the lease ended in October and that I would move out. Well, I moved out on Friday Oct 16th and returned the keys, but the landlord stated that she filed an eviction on the following Monday. Is that possible? If i vacated the premises as the motice stated how can she still file an eviction?
